About Me

    I'm not just a licensed psychotherapist; I'm your ally in the journey towards a happier, more balanced life. With many years in formal education in the field of psychology, I've been fortunate to accompany numerous individuals on their path to improved mental well-being and personal growth.

My Education:

My journey in psychology has been enriched by a strong foundation of formal education including:

  • Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from California Lutheran University, where my dissertation focused on "Minorities' Psychological Distress and Coping in response to Microaggressions."

  •  Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from California Lutheran University.

  • Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands.

  • Associates of Arts in Psychology from Ventura College.

In addition I have provided psychological services in multiple settings including a number of Community Mental Health settings,  Ventura County Medical Center, and Illinois Advocate Medical Center.  

These experiences have shaped my understanding of psychological care and have equipped me with the knowledge and reinforced my passion to assist individuals on their path to improved mental well-being and personal growth.
